It’s time…it’s time…it’s Book End Time! Welcome to this week’s Book End, highlighting the week’s literary and library events here in Hawaii.

Celebrate Reading

Don’t forget that this Saturday is the Celebrate Reading festival!  This is a free event held on the University of Hawaiʻi Mānoa campus.  Two special guests from the mainland, author Matt de la Peña and graphic novelist Gene Luen Yang will be speaking along with a plethora of local writers, authors, and poets.  Even your very own Hawaii Book Blog members will have our own 45-minute block to discuss blogging.  For more information on this event, check out our Celebrate Reading page.

New format

We’re trying something a little new this week.  Hopefully, in an effort to keep the events more organized, I’ve implemented the use of these tabs provided to me by our new web designer.  Please let me know if your browser has difficulty viewing the events in the tabs.  There should be three tabs below; one each for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Now on to the events…
