It’s time…it’s time…it’s Book End Time! Welcome to this week’s Book End, highlighting the week’s literary and library events here in Hawaiʻi.  For this Book End, I’ve added the bonus day of Monday, since a lot of great events are happening that day, and most of the weekend isn’t as busy as previous weeks.

Support our local literary scene and our local libraries by attending these events.  Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Kapolei Spring Reading

From March 12 – 24, Kapolei Public Library will be presenting their “Seventh Annual Spring Reading Program.”  Children sixth grade and younger are invited to sign up for this two-week program which is sponsored by Target, and coincides with most schools’ spring intercessions.  Participants will receive weekly prizes and are eligible to win bonus awards . . . just by reading!  Younger children whose parents read aloud to them are also invited to participate in the program.  For more info, visit The Friends of the Library of Hawaii.
