It’s time…it’s time…it’s Book End Time! Welcome to this week’s Book End, highlighting the weekend’s literary and library events here in Hawaii.
Book Crazy
If you’ve been following my Book Ends the last few weeks, you know I’ve been touting the abundance of book signing events going on that weekend. Well, I should have kept my mouth shut because this weekend takes the cake. I don’t think there’s any way this weekend can be topped in terms of literary events all in one three day span…but hey, I could be wrong! There are a LOT of author related events going from Friday into Sunday. All I can say is check out the schedule I’ve listed below and definitely help support our local authors and publishers by attending one of these great events.
Alu Like Literacy Fair + Daughters of Hawaii Book Day
Not only are there tons of book signing events, but Alu Like and the Daughters of Hawaii both had to have their major literary event on the exact same day!!! Hawaii Book Blog will be extremely torn on Saturday, trying to figure out where we’re going to be and when. The Alu Like Literacy Fair is a great event with all kinds of publishers and literacy organizations hosting booths, providing information, and selling books! The Daughters of Hawaii Book Day is similar, with lots of entertainment, books on sale, authors present for book signings and much more!
