Big Island author, Darien Gee (aka Mia King) has a new book coming out this Spring from national publisher Ballantine Books. Friendship Bread is her fourth novel and will be in stores April 19th! How can a loaf of Amish friendship bread and a recipe heal broken hearts and unite an entire community? No doubt this new story is as wonderful and touching as her previous books and I can’t wait to read it! I also LOVE that all her books come with recipes.

From the moment I finished reading (now Oahu author) Douglas Corleone’s first legal thriller One Man’s Paradise [read our review and author interview], I knew I was hooked on the main character Kevin Corvelli and would follow him anywhere. Lucky for me, Corleone has continued Kevin’s legal adventures in a second book titled Night on Fire and it seems he’s upped the ante. What sort of entanglements will Kevin Corvelli find himself in now? If the book trailer is anything to go by, Night on Fire promises some scintillating drama. For Kevin, the law is easy, it’s the women that are complicated…and dangerous. I can’t wait to watch him suffer and ultimately overcome, of course.
