There’re only 2 DAYS left before our live Rec-Fest to support First Book-Oahu’s Bookfair and Fundraiser at Barnes & Noble Kahala Mall!
We’d love to review keiki Hawaiiana books suggested by HBB readers but no one has suggested anything yet! And we’re getting closer to our goal of having 50 retweets to encourage people to spread the word regarding First Book’s fundraiser but we’re not quite there yet. Remember, if we can reach that goal HBB will buy the books that we review in the Rec-Fest and donate them to First Book-Oahu (let’s face it, we’ll probably buy them anyway 😉 but it would be nice to help get the word out)
Send us your book suggestion now (via Twitter, Facebook, or comment below) so we can read and review it during our live blogging event this Saturday, March 13th from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. Just say “First Book” with any purchase, and part of the proceeds will go to help First Book-Oahu buy books and reading materials that support organizations and needy children in the community.
