We seem to be experiencing some technical difficulties with the formatting of our website. On occasion I have noticed when loading Hawaii Book Blog, the page comes out very roughly formatted, yet there are other times when everything looks perfectly fine. However, wanting the site to be 100% user friendly, you may notice that we may be changing around the template a bit in the next few days. We just want to let everyone know that we will be up and readable, especially for our Rec-Fest this Saturday, and we apologize for any inconvenience.
On that note, please help us promote this Rec-Fest as it is tied in with First Book-Oahu’s fundraising efforts over the weekend to raise money for impoverished children in Hawaii. Through your purchases at Barnes & Noble Kahala (and by designating your purchase to the cause), First Book-Oahu will receive money so that they can buy children’s books. Also, if we get 50 RTs on Twitter or 20 new fans on Facebook, we will also purchase and donate the books we review that day to First Book-Oahu. And we are still soliciting any requests from YOU for Hawaii children’s books that you would like us to review that day. As long as it is available within the store, we can cover it. You can find out more about this event from our post here and also on the First Book-Oahu website.
So, if you are experiencing problems with the web page, we ask that you let us know what the problem is by commenting on this post and/or e-mailing us (aalba@hawaiibookblog[dot]com) so that we can better find and fix the causes of our formatting errors. Mahalo.
