You don’t have to be a writer of children’s literature to benefit from a Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) conference. You just have to be a writer.
“I don’t write for children. I write. And somebody says, that’s for children.” Maurice Sendak
“You have to write the book that wants to be written. And if the book will be too difficult for grown-ups, then you write it for children.” Madeleine L’Engle
Here’s the info for this year’s conference with award winning authors and agents.
